چکیده

Magnesium silicate has been prepared by a precipitation technique. This composite structure was proven different tools, XRD, TGA&DTA, FTIR, and XRF. found to have the formulas Mg1.1SiO3.2.1.1H2O. Thermoluminescence (TL) dosimetric properties like (linearity, fading, energy independence) of magnesium in shape MgSiO3 estimated. A strong TL dosimetry peak associated with gamma radiation arises from 137Cs developed. Different doses were measured thermoluminescence detection technique for glasses unique elements concentration assess its properties. single about 230 °C all irradiated samples. Total integral values output principal showing linear behavior start 0.5 Gray up 2 dose range. Correlation response showed dose-response improvement concerning low relationship.

Ammonium dithionate- a new material for highly sensitive EPR dosimetry.

Polycrystalline ammonium dithionate has been examined for its radiation response in the low dose range (<5Gy) using EPR technique. The SO(3)(-) radical ion was detected as a single EPR line with a peak-to-peak derivative width of ca. 0.44mT in irradiated samples and its intensity was found to vary linearly with dose. At equal and moderate settings of microwave power and modulation amplitude amm...

Thermoluminescence Dosimetry (TLD) and its Application in Medical Physics

Radiation dosimetry is fundamental in Medical Physics, involving patients and phantom dosimetry. In both cases thennoluminescence dosimetry (TLD) is the most appropriate technique for measuring the absorbed dose. In this paper thennoluminescence phenomenon as well as the use of TLD in radiodiagnosis and radiotherapy for in vivo or in phantom measurements is discussed. Some results of measuremen...
